Shane Haltman also known as Hälts resides in the East Kootenay of British Columbia, Canada. Fuelled by inner spirit and life experience, Hälts lives the art life. He is a multi-faceted artist with experience in mural making, street art, fine art, digital art, sound design, and digital filmmaking. His art dances between the 'real world' and imagination, documentary and surreal, analog and digital, memory and dreams, and from one medium to another. For nearly 2 decades Hälts has been dedicated to creative flow. His influences are many including New York Abstract school, Olafur Eliasson, and the Surrealists movement. He also has a long-standing appreciation for cinema including the likes of Andrei Tarkovksky, David Lynch, Krzysztof Kieślowski, and Jim Jarmusch. Hälts has exhibited and created work all over the world, from surf villages to Urban environments. Always opening new doors of creative exploration his latest flow is in new media including digital cinematography, and sound design and NFT’s.
