As our world turns technocratic, are we subsequently losing connection to the tactile, the actual, quickly being replaced by ‘Artificial’? I love art, specifically I love paint, I practically eat and breathe it. I do spend some time here, writing these blogs, and sharing my journey with you, however I do not twitter, nor do I place emphasis on maintaining my popularity social index, while jumping on the latest trend. I prefer the underground, working in the studio, not dissimilar to my ancient ancestor cave artists. The one thing I know is that a digital artificial representation will never replace the real thing, paint has an innate glow that comes from the artist and not the glow of the monitor, it simply relies on the reflection of available light and in it’s silence speaks volumes.
