So after quick start it is now time to breathe. breathe in and breathe out, the ocean, lady pacifica breathes in and out, energy coming In and energy going Out, in and out, there is no agenda, no strategy, no reason, it is simply what she does. It is a good metaphor for living, accepting what comes in and what goes out, without reason, and this is what it feels like to be in flow. There is no reason for flow, it comes when you release all the chains that hold you down and go into a pure deep concentration and meditation, tapping into your true potential. Breathing in and out, letting thoughts be thoughts and like clouds letting them float away, slowly forgetting the trivial and connecting with something every single one of us has the capacity and ability to do, and that is flow. It may not come easily, it involves working , playing, discipline, humility. It involves connecting with feelings and emotions while remaining aware that these are okay and can be channeled without fear. doubt, confusion, agenda, and reason can potentially limit your flow, this is not to say that they are not there, flow is being in breath, being fully present, feeling every muscle, every fiber, every cell, and if you amplify this you feel Earth, one this is what artists of the past referred to as the universal. You do not have to be an academic to appreciate flow, you don’t have to be also called expert to experience flow, all you have to do is dive in and do it, no holding back while remaining in tune with you and your surroundings, breathing it all in and accepting it without fear, judgement and expressing this through a vehicle like paint, ink, sculpture, a hammer, surfboard, a hockey stick whatever floats your boat, the point is to do it without doubting and trusting you can do it all the way through. Flow, try it, remember to breathe, in and out, in and out, in and out…til next time Mahaloness and flow
Images included here are an Ohana healing mural painted on drywall and to be painted over so that it is an internal protective layer that acts like a membrane letting in energy tag is welcome while preventing or redirecting energy that is unwelcome, it is also a healing mural that is medicine through color. It is wisdom passed on from artists before my time and which I have made the conscious decision to continue the good work.
The second image is ink on a piece of scrap wood from a house under construction that is flown by nature and inspired by Paia Maui
